In early 2013, a Teen Mums Pilot Program was launched by the Ministry of Women, Community and Social Development as a commemorative activity for International Women‘s Day. The program focuses mainly on sexual and reproductive health rights which are also in line with CEDAW and Convention on the Rights of the Child articles. It also focuses on gender based violence which links the relationship between the mother and the father to the parent and the child.
