Brief Description

The National Policy for Gender Equality 2016-2021 provides a framework for government’s commitment to gender equality and inclusivity of persons with disabilities in broad areas of Ending Violence, better access to health and educational information and services, equal economic opportunities for women including women with disabilities, increased women’s participation in leadership, and enhancing gender equality approaches for community resilience, climate change and promotion of gender equality.
