Brief Description

The National Cyber Security Act, 2020 (Act 1038) seeks to protect women from sexual and gender-based violence and harassment online especially harassment on nonconsensual sharing of intimate images and sexual extortion. The National Security, Ghana Police Service and the Ministry of Communication have put in place a monitoring mechanism to ensure compliance of the Act.
