Tamkine Multi-Sectoral Programme Addressing Violence Against Women

Brief Description

"Tamkine" means empowerment in Morocco, and this is the key strategy through which the Multi-sectoral Joint Programme addresses violence against women. Taking a multi-sectoral approach, it joins together 13 national entities and over 50 NGOs. It aims to prevent and protect women and girls from all forms of violence by addressing the inter-linkages between poverty and vulnerability.
