Form of Violence Violence against women and girls

Brief Description

The ‘#CountMeIn’ was a social media tool of the campaign for mass mobilization of communities to promote collective responsibility in the fight to eradicate violence against women and children. This campaign has reached faith-based organizations, Media Houses, Trade Unions, Sports fraternity, Private Sector and Civil Society Organizations including the Men’s Sector. The national dialogues were aimed at unravelling the root causes of violence against women and why it is not abating despite an unprecedented body of laws in the country and some of the world’s best-model institutional mechanisms in place.
