An Anti-Human Trafficking National Action Plan 2018-2022 has been developed to facilitate coordinated implementation of the Anti-Human Trafficking (Amendment) Act of 2018 and to define the roles of different actors. The Plan has been allocated an initial budget of USD 400,000 for the Financial Year 2019/20 which will be utilised in the intensification of public awareness and education, among others. The budget will also be used to implement the Plan in terms of initiatives associated with protection of victims, prevention, prosecution and enhancing key partnerships.
