UN Joint Gender Programme of the GBV Prevention Response

Brief Description

The Government of Botswana continues to collaborate with different stakeholders and partners in efforts to address gender based violence and raise public awareness on the issue. To this end the United Nations and Government of Botswana signed the UN Joint Gender Programme of the Gender Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response 2018-2022.Through this joint programme, the UN supports Government in addressing GBV in line with the National Strategy for the Prevention of GBV in Botswana.
