The 2008 Reproductive Health Survey is the eighth in a series of periodic enquiries conducted by the National Family Planning Board. The scope of the survey, as in earlier studies, is designed to update measures of fertility and contraceptive use and other reproductive health issues among women aged 15-49 years and men 15-24 years. For the first time in Jamaica, the 2008 RHS collected key HIV/AIDS indicators and documented the level of domestic violence and gender norms among women and men.
