In 2016, a Minimum Standard for Basic Counseling for Women and Girl Survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) document was finalized to ensure the application of a client-centered human rights approach in delivering services to GBV survivors. The rollout of the guidelines and training for service providers was conducted in seven provinces and a nation-wide training plan is being developed.
